Drawing room is the first room you enter as you move from one room to another room in your house, so it's very natural that it will give u a lasting impression. Drawing room interiors includes sitting place with decorative items, beautiful lighting fixtures and designer curtains and beautiful crockery etc. Drawing room is the only place in which one can show his/her whole creativity by decorating it beautifully. Drawing room is the room where you spend half of your time with your family, friends or guests. So it is very important to keep your drawing room up to the mark, emitting positive energy always. Drawing room furniture should be chosen according to the flooring & interior of your drawing room. The modern interiors would look bad with ancient sofa sets. If the area of drawing room is less, more of compact furniture which can be folded and placed easily should be used, to provide enough space.

The flooring entrance space must be made of really strong materials such as ceramics, marble, tiles or slate. If you use such materials, your flooring cannot be damaged by moisture and sludge. Most often, rugs and mats alleviate beauty of your house; just make sure they are put in the right area. So, avoid putting them on entrance area since it would be quick to get them dirty. It is also not a wise decision to put a rug or mat at the drawing room.

While your entrance is a very important part of your home to decorate, your drawing room also needs proper designing and space usage. There should be a smooth and fluid transition between the entrance hall and the drawing room. Layout, size and shape of the room is dependent on many factors. A lot of people tend to think that the drawing room is just a waiting area which is often used for holidays.
